How long does it take to start using the service after applying?

It takes about 6 weeks minimum from the day you apply for the service to the time you start using it.
The required time may vary depending on the environment of the contracted medical institution.

Is it possible to read the images in comparison with the past examination images?

You can compare the test images with your past test images.

Please tell me about the diagnostic radiologists.

We have contracts with more than 30 diagnostic radiologists (as of May 2021). We know each contracted reader's specialty and area of expertise, and assign each request to one of them.

I'm not familiar with computers or the Internet, is that a problem?

Our technical staff will support you from installation of the terminal in the hospital to troubleshooting. Even if you are not familiar with computer operation, there is no problem.

Can the system be linked to electronic medical records, PACS, or health checkup systems and such?

We have experience working with other systems. Please feel free to contact us.

Is it possible to inquire about the reading report?

Yes, it is possible. The quality of the report and the quality of the reading are controlled by a radiologist at appropriate times. We also evaluate reports that have been requested for re-reading and provide feedback to the diagnostic radiologist in charge, and report improvements to the requesting medical institution.

I heard that you use the Internet to send and receive test images and reading reports, but I am worried about security.

For the communication line, we use a dedicated VPN line that ensures high security, which is ideal for medical image communication. There is no need to worry about information leaks in communications between the contracting institution and the remote reading center.

Teleradiology Costs

You will need to sign a "Teleradiology Service Agreement".
In addition to the basic monthly fee, there is a per-request fee for remote reading.

The basic fee is a fixed monthly fee.
The reading fee varies by modality, such as CT, MRI, etc., or by the purpose of imaging, such as health checkup images.
